Bijoy 24 Hall Hosts “She Leads” Workshop on CV Building, Interviews, and Public Speaking at University of Chittagong

The Bijoy 24 Hall Parliament of the University of Chittagong, in collaboration with the Center for Science-Tech-Policy Diplomacy (CSTPD), successfully organized its first-ever workshop titled “She Leads: Building Confidence Through CV, Interviews & Public Speaking” on Sunday, 10 May 2026, at Bijoy 24 Hall.

The workshop session was conducted by Shahriar Hossain Shagor, Founder & CEO of NextGen Doctors, Director of AGR Venture, Founder of The English Squad, Chairman of Orbit 64, and Judge at QCWC under The Royal Commonwealth Society. He shared practical insights on confidence-building, communication strategies, professional CV writing, interview preparation, leadership development, and public speaking skills.

The primary objective of the workshop was to empower female students by strengthening their confidence, communication abilities, interview preparation skills, public speaking capacity, and professional CV-building techniques. The program also focused on raising awareness regarding national and international opportunities available for students.The workshop was officially inaugurated by Professor Dr. Jannat Ara Parvin, Provost of Bijoy 24 Hall, who highlighted the importance of such initiatives in supporting students’ academic, personal, and professional growth.

CUCSU General Secretary Mr. Sayeed Bin Habib also addressed the audience, encouraging students to actively participate in co-curricular activities and continuously develop their leadership and professional skills.Among other distinguished guests present were Professor Dr. Akhtar Hossain Majumder, Administrator of the Public Relations and Publications Division at the University of Rajshahi; Dr. Akikul Haque, Senior Residential Teacher of Bijoy 24 Hall; other residential teachers; Chaksu Career Affairs Secretary Mehedi Hasan Sohan; Women’s Welfare Secretary Nahima Akter Dipa; Hall Parliament Vice President Sanu Akter (Nodi); and other members of the hall parliament.The program was hosted by Afia Ibnat Wafa, Literary and Cultural Secretary of the Hall Parliament, while the overall planning, coordination, and supervision of the workshop were conducted by Ammatul Basori Bristy, Science and Research Secretary of the Hall Parliament.

Special thanks and sincere appreciation were extended to CSTPD Intern Junnatul Ferdosh Akhi Moni from the University of Chittagong for her dedicated support, coordination, and contribution toward the successful execution of the workshop.
