Tanvir Kabir is the Counsellor (Political) at the Embassy of Bangladesh in Berlin, where he has been serving since October 2021. He also holds the role of Project Management Officer for the Chancery Construction project.

Tanvir is actively engaged in Science, Technology & Climate Diplomacy in Germany and the EU. Prior to this, he served as Second/First Secretary in Mexico City and pursued a Master’s in Environmental Technology & International Affairs at the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna and Technical University, Wien. He has held various positions in Bangladesh’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including Director for West Asia and South-East Asia.

Tanvir is certified in SAP ERP and has attended numerous diplomatic trainings, including the International Diplomats Program in Berlin, and courses on Sustainable Consumption & Production and Caspian Basin Studies.
