He is a senior career diplomat of the Bangladesh Foreign Service and serves as an Advisor to the Centre for Science, Technology & Policy Diplomacy (CSTPD). With over 13 years of progressive experience in international diplomacy, he brings deep expertise in bilateral and multilateral relations, migration governance, political affairs, and institutional leadership.

He is a senior career diplomat of the Bangladesh Foreign Service and serves as an Advisor to the Centre for Science, Technology & Policy Diplomacy (CSTPD). With over 13 years of progressive experience in international diplomacy, he brings deep expertise in bilateral and multilateral relations, migration governance, political affairs, and institutional leadership.

He is currently serving as Counsellor (Political) and Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Bangladesh in Brasília, where he manages diplomatic relations with multiple South American countries including Brazil, Argentina, Chile, and others. In this role, he leads political reporting, bilateral engagement, and administrative reforms, contributing to more efficient mission operations and strategic diplomatic outcomes.

Previously, he served as Charge d’Affaires ad interim and Counsellor (Political) at the Embassy of Bangladesh in Rome, where he led a large diplomatic mission and represented Bangladesh in major international platforms such as the FAO Council. He played a key role in negotiating and concluding multiple bilateral agreements and advancing labor diplomacy, significantly benefiting Bangladeshi migrant workers abroad. At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he directed Bangladesh’s engagement with major multilateral organizations including OIC, D-8, SAARC, and BIMSTEC, and coordinated nationwide consular and welfare services across all Bangladesh missions abroad.

He holds advanced academic qualifications from The Fletcher School at Tufts University and Harvard Kennedy School, along with an Executive MBA from IBA, University of Dhaka. His expertise includes negotiation, policy diplomacy, international cooperation, and institutional reform. In CSTPD, he contributes strategic guidance in science diplomacy and global policy innovation.
