His groundbreaking undergraduate thesis on a “Mobile Device Communication System using Java CORBA, ATA Command” not only highlighted his innovative thinking but also set the stage for a successful career in engineering.

Driven by a relentless pursuit of knowledge, he furthered his education with a Master’s degree in Software Engineering, again at his alma mater, completing it in 2013. His master’s thesis on “Weather Data Handling for Avionic and Non-Avionic Systems” tackled a topic of critical importance, showcasing his ability to address real-world challenges with expertise.

To expand his horizons, Moddasir pursued a Master’s program in Automotive Engineering at the Technical University of Chemnitz in Germany. Here, he conducted an influential thesis on the “Design and Assessment of a High-Performance Radar Processing Chain using Data Distribution Service Standard (DDS)” at Airbus Defense and Space. This experience equipped him with advanced knowledge crucial for developing cutting-edge E-Scan RADAR systems and electronic warfare technologies.

In addition to his degrees, he participated in the prestigious European Master’s program in Space Science and Technology, which included advanced coursework at Julius Maximilian University of Würzburg in Germany and Luleå University of Technology in Sweden. His commitment to professional growth is evident in his completion of a variety of relevant courses, from Cisco IT Essential-1 in 2006 to MCTS certifications in Application Development Foundation and Windows Form Applications in 2009. In 2010, he achieved the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification, and he further broadened his expertise with specialized courses such as “Earth Observation from Space” offered by the European Space Agency (ESA) and “Monitoring the Oceans from Space” by EUMETSAT in 2016.

Currently, Moddasir serves as a Senior System Engineer for the Eurofighter Fighter Simulation Program at Airbus Defense and Space, where he excels in leveraging his extensive expertise to drive innovation and achieve remarkable results in the aerospace and defence sectors. His contributions are not only impactful but also pivotal in shaping the future of technology in this field.
