Dr. Asaduzzaman holds a PhD in Media and Communication from Goldsmiths College, University of London (Commonwealth Scholarship) and a Master’s in Media Studies from The New School University, New York (Junior Fulbright Scholarship). He also earned a Master’s and Bachelor’s (BA Honours) in Mass Communication and Journalism from the University of Dhaka.

He has authored three books on communication and media literacy and published several research articles. His recent research includes studies on digital media usage during the Covid-19 pandemic and the portrayal of the Liberation War of Bangladesh in Indian films. His ongoing research explores digital citizenship and the role of youth in Bangladesh’s digital transformation.

His fields of interest include media literacy, gender and technology, digital citizenship, and the political economy of ICT.
