CSTPD Founding Advisor Leads UIU Session on Career Prospects in Germany and Bangladesh Foreign Service

A career awareness session titled “Career Prospects in Germany & Joining Foreign Service of Bangladesh” was organized by the United International University Directorate of Career Counseling & Student Affairs (UIU DCCSA).

The program aimed to enhance career consciousness among students and introduce them to global professional pathways.

The session featured Mr. Tanvir Kabir, Founding Advisor of the Center for Science, Technology Policy & Diplomacy (CSTPD) and Counsellor (Political) at the Embassy of Bangladesh in Berlin, Germany, as the resource person. He shared in-depth insights on career opportunities in Germany as well as the structured pathway to joining the Foreign Service of Bangladesh.

Drawing from his diplomatic experience, he discussed the evolving nature of international careers, emphasizing the importance of strategic preparation, academic excellence, and global awareness. He also highlighted how modern diplomacy requires cultural understanding, adaptability, and multidisciplinary skills.The interactive session encouraged students to explore careers in foreign service, international organizations, and global governance. Participants actively engaged in discussions on preparation strategies, eligibility criteria, and the realities of diplomatic and overseas careers.The program successfully enhanced student awareness of global career opportunities, aligning with UIU DCCSA’s objective of preparing future-ready graduates.The engagement further reflects CSTPD’s mission to bridge students with diplomacy and global career pathways through the active contribution of its Founding Advisor in academic and international outreach initiatives.
