CSTPD Founding Advisor Delivers Keynote on German Immigration Opportunities for Bangladeshi Talent

A virtual session on “Changes in German Immigration Law: Prospects/Opportunities for Skilled Workforce in Engineering, IT & Tech Sector from Bangladesh” was organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering at IUBAT-International University of Business Agriculture and Technology

The session featured Mr. Tanvir Kabir, Founding Advisor of the Center for Science, Technology Policy & Diplomacy (CSTPD); Counsellor (Political & Projects); and Head of Chancery at the Embassy of Bangladesh in Berlin, Germany, as the keynote speaker. He provided in-depth insights into recent changes in German immigration policies and how these reforms are creating new opportunities for skilled professionals from Bangladesh, particularly in engineering, IT, and technology sectors.

Drawing from his diplomatic experience, he explained the evolving demand for skilled workers in Germany and emphasized the importance of technical expertise, language proficiency, and adaptability for those seeking international career pathways. He also highlighted how structured preparation and awareness of policy frameworks can significantly enhance prospects for Bangladeshi graduates.The interactive session, conducted via Zoom, engaged students from various engineering disciplines, encouraging them to explore global opportunities and align their skills with international market demands.This engagement reflects CSTPD’s ongoing mission to connect Bangladeshi students with global career opportunities, policy insights, and international exposure-empowering them to become competitive participants in the global workforce.
